Patrol went OK. I did come home early. Still not 100% well.
The wind was cold and I didn’t want a chill. Today Karen will give me a phone
lesson and a massage. I remind myself that I learned a lot about the computer
with help. I know I have to do the same motions several times before I have
muscle memory. I’m sure the phone is the same. No sense having a device that I
can’t maneuver at will.

I composed an earlier comment, but it didn't appear when I pressed "publish." I'll try again. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Sharon. Mara from St. Paul's, Happy belated birthday--it sounds as if you were well feted and are embarking on the smart phone adventure. Yes, like all tech things, it is frustrating at first, but I've had one for a few years now--first an Android and then an iPhone--and it is very handy.
May your energy return soon. Hope the massage is wonderful.
Ooops--in my second post, I forgot to say that I enjoyed learning more about Jedediah Smith from your Paraclete article. I even sang along (silently) to the Jed Clampett song with revised lyric. I can see how one could mistake redwoods for some hitherto unexperienced species of cedar, except for the fragrance. Sounds like JS was a man of peace. Yay!
