Aside from conversations with Hollie and Chris, it was a
solitary day. I am assessing constantly, paring the unnecessary, and planning
for enhancement. For some reason cleaning the containers, weeding the lemon
tree, and planting a row of onion sets filled a need. I wandered around the
yard wanting ideas for developing it with plants and vegetables. Straw-bale
gardening appeals to me. I have plenty of space for a row of bales. Besides the
convenience, the soil is better too.
