Police patrol today.
I will decide if I want to keep this duty. I’m at the place in my life
where I want to enjoy what I’m doing and I’m not sure this qualifies. Maybe
with a different partner. The new police chief may be proactive about
recruiting and training civilian volunteers. Meanwhile, the new phone is at the
frustrating point of the learning curve. Yesterday I gave up, turned it off,
and said, Why did I want that thing?
